Position Summary This position is responsible for day-to-day human resource, employee relations, and recruitment activities for nonexempt positions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (The following statements describe the general nature of work being performed in this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by Management): Responsible for the recruitment of qualified nonexempt applicants using an on-line applicant tracking system (ATS). Conducts thorough employment and/or educational references. Maintains up-to-date applicant flow information for Affirmative Action Plan. Responsible for posting internal job opportunities, counseling and assisting employees with promotional opportunities, scheduling appointments and reviewing performance. Maintains Human Resources Information Systems (ADP Enterprise/eTime) and prepares reports from the database ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Maintains, secures, and safeguards employee records ensuring accuracy of files. Coordinates payroll notifications on new hires, terminations, etc. per prescribed procedure including submitting information on a timely basis to corporate human resources and follow-up system for eligibility. Aid employees in applying for leaves of absence and utilizing FMLA as needed. Provide recommendations for the development of policies and procedures; interpret and communicate policies to management and employees, while ensuring fair and consistent applications. Assists in the administration of the Workers' Compensation program. Responsible for updating company organizational charts using Visio. Conducts new hire orientation. Conducts exit interviews. Collect content, create and distribute monthly employee newsletter (Publisher/PowerPoint). Assist with benefits open enrollment and conduct other trainings as assigned. Regularly assist with on-site activities and functions as needed. Qualifications Associates Degree required and at least one to three years' experience in Human Resources required. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and all office equipment as well as proficiency with web navigation. Proficient in the use of HRIS systems; including payroll, timekeeping, ATS, everify & benefits management systems. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports/business correspondence and effectively present information to employees. Ability to calculate figures and amount such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
